Welcome to Fagagna
After having lived in many places around the world we decided to stop in Fagagna, a village in the Friuli hills a stone throw from Udine and San Daniele. And here, my family and I, have decided to open our home to guests: an excellent starting point for discovering Friuli Venezia Giulia, a fascinating region with its mountains, lakes and the sea. A region rich in history and famous for its food and wine.
Moreover, Fagagna is the country of cheese par excellence and in September you cannot miss the traditional donkey race, a race that takes place in our village since more than 130 years.
Our structure
This carefully renovated barn combines rustic features with modern comforts. The house is spread over two floors: the lower level features three bedrooms with private bathrooms, while the first floor features a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, and a bathroom. From here, you access a mezzanine level, which can be used as a children's play area or relaxation area, and which can also be converted into an additional double bedroom with a sofa bed.
Location
The property is independent and is next to the owners' house, with which it shares the wonderful garden.
Just a stone's throw from the center of Fagagna, close to the town's bars and restaurants, it's an excellent base for hillwalking.
The property does not have private parking inside, but there is a large free parking lot along the adjacent road just steps from the pedestrian entrance to the property.
