Welcome to Fagagna
After having lived in many places around the world we decided to stop in Fagagna, a village in the Friuli hills a stone throw from Udine and San Daniele. And here, my family and I, have decided to open our home to guests: an excellent starting point for discovering Friuli Venezia Giulia, a fascinating region with its mountains, lakes and the sea. A region rich in history and famous for its food and wine.
Moreover, Fagagna is the country of cheese par excellence and in September you cannot miss the traditional donkey race, a race that takes place in our village since more than 130 years.
Our structure
This carefully renovated barn combines rustic features with modern comforts. The house is spread over two floors: the lower level features three bedrooms with private bathrooms, while the first floor features a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, and a bathroom. From here, you access a mezzanine level, which can be used as a children's play area or relaxation area, and which can also be converted into an additional double bedroom with a sofa bed.
Description
A pedestrian-only entrance leads into the shared garden and immediately to the left is the guest house. The first floor comprises a spacious living room with a fireplace and exposed beams, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom.
From here you access a mezzanine, where there is a comfortable sofa bed for additional accommodation or a relaxation area or for children to play. On the lower floor there are three comfortable bedrooms with private bathrooms (shower or bathtub).
In the shared garden there is an outdoor swimming pool and a sauna that our guests can use upon request at certain times of the day.
Our offer
Our offer includes accommodation only, meals are not included.
The basic price for two people is 155,- euros per night.
The cost for each additional guest is 40,- euros per night.
The maximum number of guests allowed in the house is 8 people.
Children under two years old are free.
A cot/crib can be provided in the room upon request.
